About David
Hi, I’m Dave, a fully accredited driving instructor based in Adelaide, South Australia. I bring a calm, patient, and structured approach to driver training, helping learners build confidence and safe driving habits that last a lifetime. I have over 18 years’ experience working in the South Australian Government, in a role where road safety, risk awareness, and decision-making were a daily focus. Prior to that, I served in the Royal Australian Navy, which shaped my disciplined, safety-first mindset. For the past three years, I’ve also run my own successful driving school, specialising in teaching young drivers aged 16–18, including first-time learners and those preparing for the VORT or practical driving assessment. I tailor each lesson to suit the learner’s pace and learning style, whether they’re nervous beginners or close to test-ready. My goal is not just to help students pass their test, but to develop confident, responsible drivers who feel safe and in control on the road.
